Capel Classic Car & Bike Show
19th August 2023 @ 12:00 am – 5:00 pm
PLEASE NOTE: PUBLIC ACCESS IS FROM 12.00AM – Located just off the A24 south of Dorking, the show attracts 650 classic cars and vehicles from the 1920s including fire engines, ambulances, military vehicles, commercial vehicles, vans and motor bikes. Modern MGs and classics are welcome while attending with a registered Car Club.
There is also a village fete with a choice of hot and cold drink kiosks; a large beer tent; food stalls selling cakes, homemade jams and a variety of foods; an eating area; and other stalls selling crafts, antiques, bric-a-brac, books and motoring memorabilia. Finally, there are flower and dog shows, competitions, farm animals, and horse drawn carriage rides. Entry is by prepaid tickets only, purchased from the organiser’s web site at a minimum £12.50 per car to include two occupants. All the proceeds go to a local charity.
Places are restricted to 650 entries on a first come first served basis, therefore early registration is advisable. Registration is now open and closes as soon as 650 entries have been received or early in August. For further information and a registration form click on the link below.
As in previous years Chichester MGOC has been allocated our own Club Area for 12 cars with our gazebo and flags. To join us and secure a space in our Club Area, you must register online, see link below, with the organiser stating that you are a Chichester MGOC member and a part of the attending group, select ‘Classic Cars’ on the ticket type. Please let David know you have book a space, on his email below.
The gates open at 10.00am, and we have been asked to arrive together as soon as possible thereafter as a group. Accordingly, we meet at ‘Billies Café’ on the A29 to the north of Billingshurst at 08.30am for tea, coffee, snacks or a full English breakfast.
PLEASE NOTE PUBLIC ACCESS to the show is from midday.
