Join us for a weekend of murder and mystery on the Spa Valley Railway in Kent! The event will take place over the weekend of 18-19 July. The cost, excluding accommodation, is £40 per person.
At this stage, we are looking for how much interest there is in the event. If sufficient numbers respond we will finalise details in February.
Departing Saturday 18th July with a meet for breakfast at Brick Kiln Garden Centre followed by a scenic drive to Tunbridge Wells (with a possible stop off for lunch along the way).
The evening starts at Tunbridge Wells West Station with a briefing at 18:15 sharp, then we transfer to a train where the story gets more interesting as the night draws in. On our way out of Tunbridge Wells West enjoy a Fish and Chip supper as you travel through the High Weald countryside to Groombridge. Upon arrival at the country branch line station, more of the story will unfold and you will need to be on the platform not to miss the action, your train will return to Tunbridge Wells West and another trip to Groombridge to follow, giving you time to come up with who you think may have committed the dastardly deed!. The Bar car “Kate”, will be open for the whole journey.
The evening finishes back at Tunbridge Wells West in the train shed when all will become clear.
Sunday morning breakfast at the hotel followed by an optional stop off at the magnificent Hever Castle (Childhood home of Anne Boleyn) – tour around the castle/grounds and light refreshments in the Castle Cafe. Approx price £15 for castle/grounds – will try and secure a group booking deal.
If you are interested please RSVP to Alice Baggs via the event page.
