It is a lovely day spent with other clubs from the south of England as well as music and prizes for best MG. Bring a picnic or treat yourself at the house café or garden centre to a lunch or cream tea.

SUMMARY:The Snowdrop Run
DESCRIPTION:Starting at the National Trust’s Anglesey Abbey near Cambridge and finishing at Jordans Mill near Biggleswade\, this year’s event will involve a 60 mile run on quiet roads. \n\n\n\nThis year we will be supporting Huntingdonshire Volunteer Centre a local charity whose main activity is running a Car Scheme that takes clients to mainly hospital and other medical appointments. They have offices in Huntingdon\, St Ives\, St Neots and Ramsey.

DESCRIPTION:This annual event is a wonderful opportunity to drive through some great countryside of the Southdowns\, ending on the lawns of Eastbourne.  \n\n\n\nAll MG and Sprite owners are welcome regardless of club affiliations. The run  continues to be very popular –  200 cars are again expected so early booking is essential to ensure your place. Entries span the MG range from the earliest to the latest models. If the Run is over subscribed we will operate a reserve list to fill any cancellations and notify you accordingly. See booking info below. \n\n\n\nThe starting location this year is: The Southdowns Gliding Club\, Cootham\, Near Storrington RH20 4HPThe route generally meanders along the lee of the South Downs reaching the finish point atthe Western Lawns on the seafront at Eastbourne. There are numerous pubs and coffeelocations all along the route making this an opportunity to enjoy the whole outing at aleisurely pace to suit your mood.

SUMMARY:MGS in the Park - Cotswold Wildlife park
DESCRIPTION:All classic and modern MGs are welcome. The event attracts over five hundred MGs ranging from TAs\, MGAs\, Midgets and MGB/Cs through to the MGF/TF convertibles\, the ZR/ZS/ZT saloons and the new MG6s and MG3s. \n\n\n\nThis is a fabulous venue with so much to see and do. The Wildlife Park is home to Meerkats\, Humboldt Penguins\, Asiatic Lions\, Morelet’s Crocodiles\, Red Panda and White Rhino\, to name but a few. Why not bring the family along\, as the kids will love it too? \n\n\n\nYou can bring along any unwanted MG bits and display them by your car. \n\n\n\nDogs are welcome on leads and picnics are fine. The Park also has many quality food outlets. No barbecues or stoves are allowed.

SUMMARY:New Forest Run
DESCRIPTION:Join many clubs from across the South of England on Southampton and New Forest MGOC Early Summer run through the forest. You will drive on many hidden routes through some stunning countryside and villages. \n\n\n\nThe start will be from the War Memorial Village Hall at East Boldre. The centre of the village postcode is SO42 7WD and the village hall is nearby. At the Memorial Hall you will find a warm welcome from our marshals who will help you park\, whilst other members will be available to sign you in and provide you with a run book\, rally board and local information. Refreshments will be available at the start for a donation. Cars generally arrive at East Boldre Memorial Village Hall from 08:30hrs onwards for registration to collect a route book and rally style plate\, refreshments and to meet other entrants with the first cars being flagged away at 10:00hrs. DESCRIPTION:Solent MGOC annual event ‘MGs in the Park’ at Stansted House \n\n\n\nThe event has the same format as last year\, with no requirement to pre-register. \n\n\n\nJust turn up on the day and pay as you enter (£10/car). Entry to the house is ½ price for up to 2 people (on presentation of your rally plaque). we will be parking together as a club\, so look out for the Chichester 1006 flag\, but just say to the organisers that you are with Chichester. It is a lovely day spent with other clubs from the south of England as well as music and prizes for best MG. Bring a picnic or treat yourself at the house café or garden centre to a lunch or cream tea.

SUMMARY:MG100 SE Celebration weekend
DESCRIPTION:MG100 SE Celebration over the weekend of 18th/19th May. This is a weekend event with the Saturday Road Runs\, Saturday evening MG meeting and Buffet Dinner at The Fairmile\, Cobham\, followed by the SE Celebration Gathering at Brooklands on Sunday. \n\n\n\nThe Saturday Road Runs still have plenty of entry places\, with five starts distributed across the SE counties. The longest runs are just under 70miles and pass through some picturesque countryside as well as some lovely places to visit on the way. Only £15 per car to enter\, including Rally Plate and coffees at the start. The MG Cavalcade with ‘Cecil’ starts it journey through the SE on Friday 17th\, with a Handover at MG Dealer Ancaster of Dartford followed by a evening Natter meeting at King & Queen pub\, East Malling\, ME19 6DD. ‘Cecil’ continues on the Saturday Run Route from Offham\, Kent for handover on the Sunday at Brooklands for the next leg to Lands End. The buffet dinner is now sold out\, but the pub will resume their restaurant service from 7.00pm. There will be jazz band and magician entertainment followed by a short MG100 presentation by MGCC President John Day after the buffet dinner. The Cobham Premier Inn next to The Fairmile may still have one or two accessible rooms available\, otherwise a list of local hotels and B&Bs is available. \n\n\n\nAnd then the finale on the Sunday\, the SE Celebration at Brooklands Museum. Some of the highlights include: \n\n\n\n\nA display of over 70 Competition Cars with many having raced at Brooklands.\n\n\n\nMG Dealer with Cyberstar on display amongst other MG models.\n\n\n\nPride of Ownership – free to enter.\n\n\n\nPull-an-MG Midget. Competition for teams of four to pull the MG over 100 feet (three teams from MGCC\, where’s the MGOC?)\n\n\n\nShort talks from Guest Speakers in the Brooklands Napier Room\, including  Jonathan Suckling\, Anthony Reid and John Mayhead.\n\n\n\nMG Decades Timeline and Anniversary Cars Display.\n\n\n\nMusic entertainment through the day.\n\n\n\nTest Hill Runs.\n\n\n\nFree commemorative Tote Bag.\n\n\n\nNumerous MGCC Centre/Register and MGOC club displays.\n\n\n\nAnd more.\n\n\n\n\nWeekend event summary is in the attached flyer.
