DESCRIPTION:The 30th anniversary of the launch of the MGF in 1995 will be celebrated in July this year with a 2-day event based at the British Motor Museum at Gaydon\, near Warwick. The event organised by the MG Car Club’s MGF Register is open to all MGFs/TFs and hundreds of cars are expected to attend (over 600 at MGF25!). Other MGs are welcome to attend. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nMGF25 \n\n\n\n  The British Motor Museum is the world’s largest collection of historic British cars (400+).  \n\n\n\nDisplays include the Time Road (a century of motoring history)\, Design & Concepts\, Sports Cars\, Jaguar\, Land Rover and Making British Cars. DESCRIPTION:Come and enjoy this two-day extravaganza\, featuring the three Double Twelve Competition events\, Test Hill ascents\, great food\, music and entertainment for the whole family.\n\n\n\nThe event celebrates Brooklands’ rich motoring and motorsport history\, and is always held on the weekend closest to the anniversary of the original opening of the race track on the 17th June 1907. \n\n\n\nSoak up the atmosphere of the site and see both current and vintage cars competing on the Speed Trials at Mercedes-Benz World on Saturday and then on the Driving Tests on Sunday\, on the Banking and the Finishing Straight. If you prefer to be able to walk around and study your classic cars\, then the “Pride of Brooklands” Concours may be the thing for you\, including casting your vote for the “Visitors Choice” award on the day. \n\n\n\nBoth days will feature festival fun on the Museum site\, with live music\, car and motor club displays and family entertainment.

SUMMARY:MG100 SE Celebration weekend
DESCRIPTION:MG100 SE Celebration over the weekend of 18th/19th May. This is a weekend event with the Saturday Road Runs\, Saturday evening MG meeting and Buffet Dinner at The Fairmile\, Cobham\, followed by the SE Celebration Gathering at Brooklands on Sunday. \n\n\n\nThe Saturday Road Runs still have plenty of entry places\, with five starts distributed across the SE counties. The longest runs are just under 70miles and pass through some picturesque countryside as well as some lovely places to visit on the way. Only £15 per car to enter\, including Rally Plate and coffees at the start. The MG Cavalcade with ‘Cecil’ starts it journey through the SE on Friday 17th\, with a Handover at MG Dealer Ancaster of Dartford followed by a evening Natter meeting at King & Queen pub\, East Malling\, ME19 6DD. ‘Cecil’ continues on the Saturday Run Route from Offham\, Kent for handover on the Sunday at Brooklands for the next leg to Lands End. More Information https://www.mgcc.co.uk/mg100/event/mg100-cavalcade-john-ogroats-lands-end/ all in aid of two charities. \n\n\n\nRuns in our area: \n\n\n\nRun 2 – The Red Lion\, Ashington\, West Sussex RH20 3DD \n\n\n\nRun 4 – The Owl\, Kingsfold\, Horsham\, Sussex RH12 3SA \n\n\n\nThe runs finish at The Fairmile Cobham mid-Saturday afternoon and this is venue is becoming a large MG event\, with at this stage\, over 200 cars expected so far and numbers expected to rise. The buffet dinner is now sold out\, but the pub will resume their restaurant service from 7.00pm. There will be jazz band and magician entertainment followed by a short MG100 presentation by MGCC President John Day after the buffet dinner. The Cobham Premier Inn next to The Fairmile may still have one or two accessible rooms available\, otherwise a list of local hotels and B&Bs is available. \n\n\n\nAnd then the finale on the Sunday\, the SE Celebration at Brooklands Museum. Some of the highlights include: \n\n\n\n\nA display of over 70 Competition Cars with many having raced at Brooklands.\n\n\n\nMG Dealer with Cyberstar on display amongst other MG models.\n\n\n\nPride of Ownership – free to enter.\n\n\n\nPull-an-MG Midget. SUMMARY:MG 100 'The Big Birthday Bash' at Beaulieu Motor Museum
DESCRIPTION:The Big Birthday Bash will celebrate 100 years since the first MG model was produced and is open to all MGs of any age. This rally is being organised by clubs from the Home Counties South region of the MG Owners Club. \n\n\n\nThe day will feature a timeline of MGs covering the ten decades of MG production and a ‘Car of the Day’ award voted for on the day by MG owners and visitors to Beaulieu. There will also be local MGOC club display areas and MG specialist trade stands. \n\n\n\nEach area club will have a club area. DESCRIPTION:7th annual Cotswold Caper on a scenic drive through the Cotswold countryside which once again will be true to its name and stay entirely within the fabulous Cotswold Hills. We start and finish this year’s Caper at Cheltenham Tigers Rugby Club\, Cheltenham GL52 3PE. This was our venue in 2021. If you are thinking of making a weekend of it\, the Welcome letter has some suggestions of establishments you might like to consider staying at. The cost of entry is £30 for a Rally Plaque and Route Guide book. In addition\, bacon rolls and a hot drink will be available at the start. These can be pre-ordered and paid for on the entry form and will help us with the catering on the day. They will also be available to order and pay for on the day. DESCRIPTION:The Army Flying Museum’s flagship fundraising event\, Wallop Wheels & Wings 2023\, takes place on Saturday 1st July between 10am and 4.30pm. The event will showcase a spectacular display of classic aircraft\, super and classic cars\, and motorcycles. There will also be a shopping village\, a beer tent\, food stalls\, live music\, children’s activities\, and lots more. All  ticket holders will automatically receive an annual pass enabling you to visit the Museum free of charge as many times as you like for the next 12 months (does not include entry on special event days). Please be aware\, there is limited entry to the Museum on the day which is restricted to those who have upgraded their ticket to include Museum entry on Saturday 1st July 2023. \n\n\n\nIf you buy a Gift Aid ticket\, the Government will give us an extra 25% on top of your entrance fee\, at no additional cost to you. It makes a massive difference to charities like us so please Gift Aid your ticket if you are able. Please be aware that you must have paid or will pay an amount of Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax for each tax year (6 April to 5 April) that is at least equal to the amount of tax that all the charities or Community Amateur Sports Clubs (CASCs) that you donate to will reclaim on your gifts for that tax year.

The Wildlife Park is home to Meerkats\, Humboldt Penguins\, Asiatic Lions\, Morelet’s Crocodiles\, Red Panda and White Rhino\, to name but a few. Why not bring the family along\, as the kids will love it too? \n\n\n\nYou can bring along any unwanted MG bits and display them by your car. \n\n\n\nDogs are welcome on leads and picnics are fine.
