DESCRIPTION:We are delighted to announce that our guest speaker will be Alan Green MA BSc MICE and MPWS.Alan is a local historian\, who has a great knowledge of the history of our area. Alan’s talk will be ‘The 3rd Earl of Egremont’s Worst Investment — or How Chichester Got Its Canal’. Looking at why and how the canal was built and what it’s legacy is the Chichester. \n\n\n\nIt promises to be a great evening\, don’t miss it! \n\n\n\nFor anyone wanting to eat – please arrive by 6.30pm and order food by the bar on arrival. For those not eating\, the talk will start at 8.00pm. \n\n\n\nCar parking: The Yacht Club have ticketed parking\, but as guests of the club we can get free parking. You will need to let our treasurer\, Robin know by the Tuesday before club night\, via email with your car registration treasurer@chichestermgoc.org.uk.
