The GUTS Rally
15 September @ 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
This annual event is a fabulous fun day out for drivers and passengers of veteran, vintage, historic, classic and modern classic cars who enjoy taking their vehicles out for a run on beautiful country roads around Surrey, Hampshire and Sussex.
This year our destination is…
Taking place on Sunday 15 September, we are delighted to announce that this year’s Tour will take us to Hollycombe Working Steam Museum in the South Downs National Park, near Liphook in Hampshire.
‘Hollycombe Steam in the Country’ is home to Britain’s largest collection of working steam, the largest traditional fairground, as well as steam railways and a steam farm. Aside from a fascinating dive into history, rides are available on authentic steam-driven Victorian and Edwardian fairground attractions, the narrow-gauge quarry railway with its beautiful views over the South Downs, and the miniature railway with its steam locomotives. Hollycombe is also home to the world’s oldest Haunted House! The listed woodland gardens – dating back to the 1880s – also provide a quiet retreat away from the fun of the fairground to explore many rare plants and trees. For more information, please visit Steam Fair and Steam Railways on the Hampshire and Sussex Border – Hollycombe Steam in the Country

Our starting point this year is Haskins Forest Lodge Garden Centre (Holt Pound, Farnham, Surrey GU10 4LD). As usual, we will provide participants with a breakfast snack before we set off on a 50-60 mile tour over beautiful country roads. Arrival is from 8.30am with cars setting off from about 9.15am. There will be a refreshment stop halfway.
