The Bournemouth Bash

7th August 2022 @ 8:00 am 5:00 pm

‘The Bournemouth Bash’ at 10.00 am on Sunday 07th August 2022 at ‘Sammy Miller Motorcycle Museum’ at Bashley Crossroads, near New Milton in the New Forest. This venue replaces their previous regular annual event at Athelhampton House in Dorset and the event raises valuable funds for two very worthy charities; ‘Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance’ and ‘Macmillan Caring Locally’.

As a club, we have in the past attended Bournemouth & Poole’s annual event and have always been made very welcome with our own allocated space for our MGs and Gazebo. This will be a full day; meeting at Chichester in the morning with a drive down to the New Forest stopping for tea, coffee or breakfast on route. If requested, there will also be an opportunity for making this a weekend event with a scenic tour on the Saturday and a night out with evening meal in a small local hotel or pub.

Those joining us will need to pre-book in advance at  £12.50p per person – which includes entry to the award winning museum – closing date is 15 July. For those arriving on the day without a booking, entry is £15 per person (cash only) without guarantee of entry or parking within our club reserved area. Gates open at 10am. As well as entry to the museum  there will be MGOC club stands, trade stands, a grand tombola, book & jigsaw sales, a plant stall, a summer hamper draw, craft & gift shops, an animal sanctuary and the Bashley Manor Tea Rooms including a BBQ.
