Early Morning Breakfast Run’ and ‘Shoreham Airport Tour & Museum Visit’

As requested by members seeking an early morning run on quiet roads, our second breakfast run this year takes
us back to Shoreham (Brighton City) Airport for a full English or vegetarian breakfast, or bacon egg & sausage baps,
pastries, snacks, or just tea and toast and coffee at ‘The Hummingbird Restaurant & Cafe’, which opens out onto
the aerodrome with views over the South Downs. Breakfast is followed by an optional airport tour and museum visit; and then
a drive home via the Sussex countryside.
We meet at 07.00 on the A29 at the lay-by outside ‘The Spur’ public house and then enjoy a leisurely drive through the
South Downs and over Devil’s Dyke to Shoreham Airport for our early morning breakfast. The optional airport tour and
visit to the little museum costs just £5 per person.
While seating at the Café is unlimited, regretfully the airport tour and museum visit are restricted to just 25 club
members.
