Christmas Club Night 2024

This year again we will hold our event at The Spur in Slindon with a full 3-course festive dinner including coffee and homemade mince pies. There is also the option for a 2-course meal if you prefer.

The evening will feature our ever-popular raffle, photo competition, sing-a-long with David B & his accordion and a festive game for all to play—not forgetting the presentation of the Philip Overton Award.

Kenna will also display and sell a wide range of Club Regalia from bobble hats to fleece jackets and lots of other club-related items – ideal stocking fillers!

You can purchase your alcoholic/non-alcoholic drinks at the main bar throughout the evening.

Dress code for the evening: Anything Festive! There will be a prize for the most festively dressed lady & gent!

The price is £30 per person for 2 courses or £38 per person for 3 courses. Either choice includes coffee and homemade mince pies.

Bookings for this event will open on Monday 4th November at 9.00am – places will be limited to 50 and restricted to 2 per person. You must be a 2024 member to purchase a ticket.

In the meantime, please submit your photos for the photo competition!

You can submit up to a maximum of 3 photos per person. The photo(s) you submit must contain your own photos from any ChichesterMGOC club event, other car-related events or where you have been out and about with your MG in 2024 (please ensure they feature an MG!) Email your photos to both Alice AND Robin at events@chichestermgoc.org.uk AND treasurer@chichestermgoc.org.uk We will vote for the best photo of 2024 at the Christmas Party and the photographer of the winning entry will receive a small prize. So get looking through all your photos from this year! The closing date for the photo competition is Friday 29th November.

The Annual Philip Overton Award – please vote for the club member who you think has made the biggest contribution to our club in 2024. Previous recipients of this award are Andy Harris, Colin Jessey, Tony Gunton, Alice Baggs, John Godsmark and Simon Scotland. Please do not vote for any previous winner.
